Rev. Louise Green and Lama Cynthia Jurs: Earth Offering

On this weekend honoring Earth Day, we get curious about an ancient Tibetan Buddhist ritual burying clay pots filled with prayers and intentions for the healing of Gaia. Guest Buddhist teacher Lama Cynthia Jurs leads us in meditation and will stay after service for a book signing. Her new work, Summoned by Earth, tells the story of her calling over three decades with Earth Treasure Vases now planted around the world. A visiting pilgrimage group will offer a labyrinth for walking after worship in Pierce Hall.
