After service conversation: The Future of All Souls – Updating Our Church Goals

A decade ago, the Congregation came together in a church-wide visioning process. This led to the adoption of four church Goals, which describe the type of Beloved Community we want to become and which are at the center of our church’s work. Church Goals should typically be updated every five years, and our Goals—which date from a time before the pandemic, before the adoption of the 8th Principle, and before so many other changes in our church—are now a bit stale.

On Sunday, May 23, 11:45-12:45, the Board of Trustees will host an after-service conversation about whether the next church year is the right time to set new Goals. As we come back together physically and look at our past 200 years but also our future, it may be an ideal time, but it will also require significant work. Please come and hear about what this process would involve and provide your feedback about whether next year is the right time for us to plan our future.
