Roots & Wings
Have you ever wondered about our Unitarian and Universalist histories or how to powerfully explain to friends and family what Unitarian Universalism means today? Are you interested in understanding the concept of Beloved Community and what All Souls has done to build it since adopting the 8th principle in 2017? Are you eager to develop deeper connections with your fellow congregants? Come co-create with us the new Root & Wings program as we welcome both new and old members into a vibrant learning community.
Roots & Wings is a four-session, interactive introduction to Unitarian Universalist principles, history, and theology, with a focus on All Souls Church. In addition, participants will reflect on their personal spiritual journeys; examine All Souls’ social justice ministry, especially as it relates to the 8th Principle; and consider what roles they might play in the future of the church.
This will be an in person offering. Class Leaders: Bill Rice & Claudia Leibler
