Harold L. Huie (j. 1/1962; d. 2009) was an usher during the 1970s and 1980s and served on the Social Responsibility Committee (1969) and the Canvass Committee. A graduate of Howard University with a master’s degree in social work, Huie spent 26 years in the field, first as a case worker with the Child Welfare Division and Boys Village and later as a probation officer and supervisor of parole and probation for the DC Superior Court.
