Orientation and Overview of Annual Meeting

This year’s annual meeting is scheduled for Sunday, June 1 after service in the sanctuary and online. This orientation session, hosted by the moderator and the board president, is an opportunity to make your voice heard and participate in important decisions including choosing trustees and officers and adopting the church’s budget. If you are new to All Souls, you may be wondering how direct democracy at church works – and this orientation will help you understand what we are voting on and what the procedures are — but all members are welcome to get an overview or refresher. If you are interested in making a motion, we encourage you to come to this session and/or the session on Sunday May 25 to get feedback on how to make motions that are in order, how time limits will work, etc.
