Alex brings many decades of experience as a choral and solo vocalist to All Souls. He studied music at Ohio University where he earned a bachelor’s degree in vocal performance (BMus) in 2001. Alex has logged hundreds of performances as both a solo performer, especially in oratorio and other sacred work, and choral artist. He currently sings with the Washington National Opera, where he has performed in dozens of productions as a tenor chorister since 2008, in addition to past engagements with other prominent local performing arts organizations including the Washington Concert Opera and Washington Master Chorale. In addition to his training and experience as a professional musician, Alex earned an MBA with a concentration in marketing from Ohio University in 2002 and has worked in marketing and student recruitment for most of his career. He currently serves as the chief marketing and recruitment officer for the College of Education and Human Development at George Mason University in Fairfax, Virginia.
