Our Place in the Living Tradition
Rev. Anastassia Zinke
June 29, 2025, 10:30 AM—Though we “know” that we are part of a fundamentally interconnected world, too often we experience being alone. The annual General Assembly (GA) of our Unitarian Universalist Association is a reminder that we are not alone. Our showing up matters, and we are connected to others of shared faith. Let us hear what people took away from their time at GA. We will also recognize and appreciate departing staff members.
ASL interpretation is available in-person and online.
Attend Online
Our online congregation meets on Zoom with the ‘doors’ opening fifteen minutes prior to the service.
Join via the Zoom app (link below), or via phone: 301.715.8592 meeting ID: 918 758 14433
What to Expect on Sundays
10:15 AM Our community gathers in-person and online (via Zoom). The nursery space opens prior to the service for children ages 5 and under.
10:30 AM The worship service begins. Masking is welcome and optional.
Children and youth begin in the sanctuary. Religious education classes are open for children ages 3 – high school. If this is your first Sunday in RE at All Souls ~or~ your child/children are in preschool, kindergarten, or first grade, please escort your child to their classroom and sign them in with their RE volunteer team when the time comes. Learn more about Children and Youth Religious Education.

Curious about Facilitating a Covenant Group?
Covenant groups are a primary way that we experience deeply connected community within All Souls. Those facilitating create the space for trust, curiosity, and discovery by welcoming participants, guiding the flow of the session, and holding space for personal reflection. Support includes trainings and monthly thematic packets. Learn more about becoming a facilitator this fall.
More on General Assembly (and why it’s in Baltimore)!
General Assembly is the annual gathering of the Unitarian Universalist Association of Congregations, and it’s being held in Baltimore Wednesday June 18 to Sunday June 22. Learn why GA is Baltimore and about All Souls’ involvement this year!
Volunteer Teams Forming To Pitch In Starting July 1
With the staffing reductions starting on July 1, we are seeking to form teams of volunteers to help out in some critical areas over the summer, even as we make longer term plans for increasing volunteer engagement into the fall. If you are interested in serving on the Sunday Hospitality or the Admin teams, contact Lori Stone at lstone(at)allsouls.ws
RE Needs You!
Enjoy working with kids or youth? Have an extra 2 hours twice a month? Consider joining the RE Volunteer Team! Each week a team of 12 (sometimes more!) volunteer their time and energy with our youngest souls. Interested in learning more about becoming one of these volunteers? Contact DRE Lara to find out more!
We Need Summer Pantry Volunteers!
A Pantry For All Souls, our Little Free Pantry on 15th Street, needs volunteers over the summer! Volunteer stewards visit the pantry 2-3 times per month to help keep the pantry clean and in working order–each visit only takes 10 minutes and the schedule is flexible. We need some extra volunteers over the summer to keep our schedule filled! Contact Maya Hermann at hermann.maya@icloud.com for more information.

8th Principle
We, the members of All Souls Church Unitarian, covenant to affirm and promote journeying toward spiritual wholeness by working to build a diverse multicultural Beloved Community by our actions that accountably dismantle racism and other forms of oppressions in ourselves and our institutions.
Listen to All Souls’ Revere bell toll for 8 minutes and 46 seconds.

Find Us
We’re at the heart of DC, at the intersection of Mt. Pleasant, Adams Morgan, and Columbia Heights. A ramp is available from the main entrance (16th St.). You can also enter from the side entrance on Harvard St.
PARKING
All Souls does NOT have a parking lot. During the week, street parking is extremely limited. The best option is to park is the paid DC USA Parking Garage on Irving St NW beneath the Target ($12 for the day).
On Sundays, there is more street parking available. Refer to the signs along the streets for restrictions.
We are also very close to the Yellow and Green metro lines at the Columbia Heights Metro station.
