This is a virtual volunteer opportunity with an external organization that All Souls Church has a relationship with through the Beckner Advancement Fund.

The Platform of Hope is looking for fluent French and Amharic speakers who would be willing to volunteer their time a few hours a month (2-4) to support us in meeting with French and Amharic speaking families, as well as possibly translating any related documents.

This person would attend zoom meetings with a POH staff member and family and interpret throughout the meeting, as needed. In addition, we would love for this volunteer(s) to attend monthly Family Saturday zoom meetings (10-11:30am on Saturdays, once a month) to support with any additional language access. Our preference is for a volunteer who can commit to doing these hours for at least 6 months.
