A letter to the congregation from Rev. Louise Green, Minister of Congregational Care.
Dear All Souls,
It was a surprise and delight to return to serve this congregation as an interim part-time Minister of Congregational Care in August, 2020. The initial ask was for five months, however, the pandemic continued along with new challenges and opportunities. My tenure extended several times in the staffing process, with Rev. Kathleen as senior Interim Minister, and then with Rev. Bill as Transitional Minister.
As spring of 2024 approaches, I feel the right time to complete my ministry at All Souls is on June 30. With a new Developmental Minister arriving, opening up this position creates room for a different team to serve for the next few years. It has been a true privilege to serve with this very caring staff, and this vibrant church.
I came to All Souls in a different role in March, 2004, so have been in your midst or in this area for twenty years now! My love for the congregation continues, and your next chapters will be dynamic and important. I so appreciate the work that the current Executive Team, Board, and Search Committees have done to create a way for a thriving future.
All my prayers for a time of flourishing, and I will be cheering you on from the community at large. Thank you for your love, energy, and commitment to being the Beloved Community in the Unitarian Universalist world and beyond.
Blessings,
Louise
