More on General Assembly (and why it’s in Baltimore)!

  • Post category:News

General Assembly is the annual gathering of the Unitarian Universalist Association of Congregations, and it’s being held in Baltimore Wednesday June 18 to Sunday June 22. As in, soon! More than 40 people from All Souls have registered so far, which is a very strong showing. One of the ways All Souls is participating at this year’s General Assembly (known as “GA”) is by sponsoring an Action of Immediate Witness: Voter Justice and Racial Equity for the Citizens of the Nation’s Capital.

Attending denominational events like GA is a great way to feel connected and energized, as well as gathering concrete skills and ideas. The truth is that Washington, DC, is too pricey a market for GA, so Baltimore is the closest it’s going to get! There are many ways to participate, including for no-cost from home.
