John Lewis Week of Good Trouble 2024 – July 17 to 23

During this decisive year for democracy, The Reeb Project is joining a coalition of civil, religious and community groups across the country to commemorate John Lewis’ legacy – and continue his fight to extend and protect the vote for all. Reeb is marking John Lewis’ many contributions with a full week of voting rights actions. We are providing four ways you can get involved. And we ask you to do at least one!

The Board of Trustees and the Ministerial Search Committee are delighted to announce that Rev. Anastassia Zinke (she/her/hers) will be joining us on July 1, 2024 to serve as our Developmental Minister.

Welcome New Staff

We are delighted to introduce two new members of the All Souls staff teamKirsten Lodal will be serving in a one-year role as Congregational Care Coordinator starting on July 9. Then in August, Reginald (Reggie) Owens joins All Souls staff as the new Director of the Jubilee Singers.

The Transient and Permanent in Unitarian Universalism: Upcoming Changes to Our Principles

The biggest decision on the agenda for the upcoming Unitarian Universalist Association General Assembly (which is all virtual from June 20-23) is a second and likely final vote on new text describing UU beliefs and values. This new language, contained in Article II of the UUA Bylaws, would replace the current Principles. Read this leadership letter from Rev.
