In keeping with the recent UUA General Assembly Statement “Solidarity with Palestinians,” (and many others calling for peace), All Souls Church has endorsed the Interfaith Action for Palestine. It is a diverse coalition of religious organizations organized to counter Christians United for Israel’s (CUFI) Annual Summit July 28-30, 2024, at National Harbor. The coalition has strong leadership from Christian, Jewish, and Muslim groups, and has been endorsed by the New Synagogue Project, a local partner congregation that holds their High Holy Days services at All Souls. CUFI is the largest “pro-Israel” organization in the United States that promotes hawkish, white Christian supremacist, and genocidal policies.

All Souls is specifically encouraging folks to join Rev. Rob Keithan at the interfaith rally at 10 AM on Tuesday July 30, but there are other events (including nonviolent direct action) planned as well. You can learn more and register at www.interfaithforpalestine.com.
