Acts of Reparation Film Screening and Conversation
Acts of Reparation is a full-length documentary film that explores reparations through the stories of two old friends– the enslaver and the enslaved, the colonizer and the colonized. After the film, we’ll talk to the stars, and hear from a leader of Sacred Reckonings. They are a new organization rooted in relationship, spiritual practice, and faithful responsiveness to a national movement for reparations to Black and Indigenous communities.
The event is free, with an option to pre-purchase lunch from BIBIBOP Asian Grill that will be delivered (or you can bring your own). If you want to check their ingredients list, follow the link to their website and selected the DuPont Circle location (1516 Conn Ave NW). The deadline to pre-order a lunch is Noon on Friday, Feb 21.
