Developmental Ministry Start-up (Pt 1)

Join Us to Dig Deep into Our Collective Past, Present and Future at All Souls in a Developmental Ministry Start-Up Workshop facilitated by the UUA

We are excited to offer this “start up” workshop to support Rev. Anastassia in her developmental ministry and shape our journey with her. This workshop, led by staff from the Central East Region (CER) of the UUA, is an opportunity for us to come together as a congregation to share our stories, experiences, and hopes for the future. We’ll reflect on what makes All Souls unique, doing an “archeological dig” into our traditions to build a clearer collective understanding of who we are and who we want to be. We will explore the ways we work together as a community and identify priorities for this next stage of ministry. (Read more about UUA startup events.)

This workshop is one way to support our path forward toward financial sustainability, spiritual repair and strengthening governance and operations. In these complex times, tending to our congregational health is essential so we can support each other, our communities and our nation.

This workshop is open to all.  Whether you’ve been part of All Souls for decades or are a newer member, this is a chance to contribute your voice and ideas to a collective understanding of where our community is headed.

Agenda

  • Registration and Light Breakfast – 9:00 am
  • Program Begins – 9:15 am

What to Expect

  • Sharing Our Stories: Reflect on All Souls’ history and the experiences that shape our congregation today.
  • Exploring Our Future: Discuss hopes and priorities for the next phase of ASC’s ministry and how we can work together to achieve them.
  • Defining Shared Ministry: Clarify roles, responsibilities, and boundaries to strengthen collaboration between Rev. Anastassia, leadership, and the congregation.
  • Building Community: Opportunity to engage in small group conversations with fellow members to learn more about a shared vision.
  • Guidance from CER Staff: Participate in guided discussions and activities designed to inform and support your developmental minister.

All Souls has long been a community where people come together to find connection, purpose, and a shared commitment to making a difference. While every congregation faces its challenges, this workshop offers a chance to reflect on where we’ve been, where we are, and where we want to go.
