Church Council Potluck and Meeting

Building on our work from the last meeting, we will be engaging in deeper discussions of what it means to be a group affiliated with the church–roles and responsibilities–as well as how the Church Council and lay leadership can support building shared ministry in light of the recommendations surrounding our financial situation. If adopted, the recommendations will require us to build systems for volunteer support of functions that were previously carried out by staff. How can we set ourselves up for success? What feedback do we have about the recommendations? Are there other topics we should be addressing? We’ll talk about all of that and more. Anyone is welcome to join, especially if they are involved in one or more lay ministry programs at All Souls (such as music, RE, Reeb Project, identity groups, covenant groups, and so many more).

Please join us ahead of the meeting for potluck and community building from 5:30-6:30. Children and families are welcome–please let us know if you think your child would be happier in the nursery and we will do our best to accommodate.
