Congregational Care – Week of 9/04/2022

As the new church year begins, we are setting up systems once again! The Congregational Care team will re-activate fully, along with the advisory circle. If you would like to be involved in our All Souls caring community, based on your own availability, contact: CongCare@allsouls.ws. Let me know your interests, and I will match you with an opportunity to connect.
Blessings, Rev. Louise, Minister of Congregational Care.

Congratulations to John Tambornino and Amani Elkassabany, who will marry this Labor Day weekend in Maryland. This was postponed once by John’s serious fall and ensuing concussion in August 2021. John and Amani created their UU–Muslim ceremony and look forward to rejoicing with friends and family.

Thinking of Marleise Pastore‘s sister Cherie this week, as she has surgery to remove a mass in her lung. Marleise and husband Jim have been supporting Cherie in this surprise medical diagnosis and treatment and appreciate our prayers and good wishes.

Rev. Louise will be traveling to Texas through Labor Day, although still on email as needed. She will visit her mother, still impacted by long COVID issues and declining health, and visit with other family flying in for the weekend.

A Celebration of Life for Adenia Taylor will be held on Friday, October 7, at 1 pm in the All Souls Sanctuary, with a reception to follow. A Zoom link will be created and posted on the All Souls homepage calendar.
