Congregational Care – Week of 11/13/2022

On Sunday night at 7 pm, The Nights of Grief and Mystery tour from Canada makes a stop at All Souls. This powerful blend of spoken word by Stephen Jenkinson, and live music, is a continuation of the inquiry into dying wise, our theme from Sunday, October 30. Tickets available here.

Consider a spiritual practice group for support in an anxious age! Mindful Souls is a lay-led group which now meets live every Sunday, after service from 11:45 to 12:30. You can find them in Classroom 3 downstairs, for mindful meditation and sharing. Attending by Zoom is also available on the first Sunday of the month. All are welcome – no experience with meditation is required.

Good news that Benyah El Shazli, the youngest child of Adam and June, is home from the hospital. We are wishing the entire family well as Benyah recovers from a lung infection.

We send condolences to Loyce Pace, whose friend Nicole died in hospice last Saturday. Nicole had been in cancer treatment for the last two years. Our love to Nicole’s mother Esther, and all Nicole’s chosen family here in D.C. and around the world.
