We Need Summer Pantry Volunteers!

A Pantry For All Souls, our Little Free Pantry on 15th Street, needs volunteers over the summer! Volunteer stewards visit the pantry 2-3 times per month to help keep the pantry clean and in working order–each visit only takes 10 minutes and the schedule is flexible. Weekly Guided Phone Bank: North Carolina Pledge to Vote

Every Tuesday in August from 6-8 PM, we are calling Black voters in North Carolina with The Center for Common Ground, following-up on postcards we sent in the spring, encouraging the people of Mecklenburg County to vote, providing resources that make it easy to check where they are registered, and asking them to get their friends and family involved.

All Souls Welcomes a New Afghan Family

A year ago, generous members of this congregation helped the family of Mohammad Monir Karimi settle into an apartment in Falls Church, Va. Recently, Monir’s brother Mukhtar journeyed here with his wife and three kids after a 2-year wait for visas. Like Monir, Mukhtar had worked for a contractor supporting the U.S. military in Afghanistan. The new arrivals will need cash, furniture, and a variety of household goods.
