As an urban congregation, All Souls is in relationship with a wide range of individuals and groups in the surrounding community. In all we do, we seek to bring our Unitarian Universalist values of compassion, equity, and justice alongside the practical concerns of maintaining our building for community use. UU the Vote has released a calendar of events for the DMV region for the weeks leading up to the 2024 General Election. We invite everyone to plug in wherever possible. There are events almost every day.
Every Tuesday in August from 6-8 PM, we are calling Black voters in North Carolina with The Center for Common Ground, following-up on postcards we sent in the spring, encouraging the people of Mecklenburg County to vote, providing resources that make it easy to check where they are registered, and asking them to get their friends and family involved.
