A great way to live into our mission and values is by covenanting with fellow members to share joys and sorrows, beliefs and struggles, through gathering in sacred spaces. Covenant Groups allow small groups (7-12 members) to commit to meeting regularly (October - May) for sharing, listening, building relationships and deepening spirits.
As we work this year toward expanding covenant groups, we are reaching out to you—if you are now, or have been, a participant or facilitator of covenant group or other small group ministry, please join us for a listening session about your experience–what works, what needs support, and more. We want to hear from you.
Shaw and Friends are from Capitol Hill, Bloomingdale, Columbia Heights, Logan Circle, and maybe Takoma Park. 3rd Thursdays from 7:00-8:30/9:00, Shaw/Bloomingdale/Columbia Heights Facilitators: Peg Mangan and Tod Preston
