Choose Your Own Adventure Sundays are a long-standing favorite in our children’s religious education program. Rather than regular classes by age, everyone gets to pick an activity and connect with people outside their age group. We did this in April 2024 with the whole congregation instead of a regular worship service, to rave reviews. So we’re doing it again! After a brief gathering in the Sanctuary, everyone in the congregation chooses an activity (lasting about 50 minutes) for the morning. For example, last year there was hymn singing in the sanctuary, physical activities in the gym, board & cards games in the dining room, arts and crafts in the dining room, yoga in the Eaton room, and an online session on theology. Rev. Keithan is currently looking for volunteers to lead some activities on August 3. It could be as easy as hosting the game room or arts & crafts (ie, you’re helping people with connect to what they want to do), or you can genuinely lead something.
