If enough people show up to the call, it will make a strong statement to the UUA that delegates to their upcoming annual meeting should prioritize allyship with the people of DC as they resist the racialized attacks on Home Rule and the Statehood movement coming from this Congress and Administration.

The Zoom session is the first big opportunity to support the Action of Immediate Witness (AIW) on DC Statehood submitted by the Reeb Voting Rights Project of All Souls Church, Unitarian, D.C. and Unitarian Universalists for Social Justice for consideration at this year’s General Assembly.
