Post-Election Day Vespers
Vespers at All Souls (regularly held the second Wednesday of each month) is a contemplative, Taizé-style service based on singing, silence, and prayer. Our November Vespers will be on the first Wednesday in order to ground and hold our spirits following Election Day. We gather in the main sanctuary at All Souls (16th and Harvard Streets NW, in Columbia Heights) at 7:30 PM and also online (Zoom info below).
All Souls is a Unitarian Universalist congregation, and all are welcome. Our mission is to create a diverse, spirit-growing, justice-seeking, Beloved Community that transforms ourselves and our world into one great family of all souls.
Love is the power that holds us together and is at the center of our shared values. We are accountable to one another for doing the work of living our shared values through the spiritual discipline of Love. Inseparable from one another, these shared values are: compassion, equity, generosity, justice, pluralism, and transformation.
