Calling voters is proven to be one of our most effective tools to get out the vote.  Join Reeb and call voters in battleground states. You’ll provide helpful, non-partisan information on early voting, voter eligibility, and related issues. Each of these two-hour sessions includes training and real-time support to callers.

Text Banking

In late September and October, Reeb will join the Poor People’ Campaign and the Center for Common Ground to text voters in battleground states. You will provide helpful, non-partisan information on early voting, voter eligibility, and related issues.

If you pledged to text voters, we will be in touch to provide you with more information as it becomes available.

If not, please check back here in upcoming weeks for details.

Door-to-Door Canvassing

Travel with a team from All Souls Church to join UUs in their communities, knocking on doors of registered voters. You’ll receive training in the art of having meaningful conversations on doorsteps and have an opportunity to express your values in work and fellowship.

Postcarding

Your joyful efforts are powering us to reach Reeb’s 2024 goal of sending 50,000 postcards to voters in battleground states.

Thank you! Onward! We have many cards and many voters to go!

Grab-and-Go Postcarding
(September 2 – October 6)

Our first campaign of the fall season sends cards to Forsyth County, North Carolina, including Winston-Salem. Register online here to pick up your batches of postcards – either after church, in Arlington or Takoma Park, or at the All Souls front desk during working hours. Your postcard captain will be in touch with addresses and instructions.

Host Your Own Postcard Party

Gather friends, family, neighbors and comrades to your home – or anywhere – for a party and write postcards together. Fill out a Postcard Party request form, and a Reeb team member will get you everything you need.

Poll Working

Poll workers fill a vital role in our communities, ensuring that polling locations are sufficiently staffed and the nuts and bolts of election day go as smoothly as possible.  Go to UU THE VOTE’s Power The Polls resource page, fill out the form, and learn how to be a poll worker in your city or county!

Voter Registration

Join our partner, the League of Women Voters (LWV), in registering new voters.

If you are new to registering voters, when you register for one of the events you will see a link to watch the 30 minute LWV voter registration training. It reinforces the non-partisan approach and gives suggestions for how to talk to voters. You will always be paired with an LWV member who will have all the materials needed.
