Congregational Care – Week of 7/24/2022

Rev. Louise Green will be on a group pilgrimage to the Isle of Iona, Scotland from 7/23 through 8/5.

For all Congregational Care issues, contact Rev. Rob Keithan at CongCare@allsouls.ws or by cell phone. Rob and Traci Hughes-Trotter are here for the rest of July. Rev. Bill Sinkford will be arriving the first week of August as Transitional Minister.

We rejoice that Gordon Kent transferred to rehab this week, after almost six months in hospital. Send cards of encouragement, to be read aloud: Oak Manor Rehab, Gordon Kent/Patient, 3415 Greencastle Road, Burtonsville MD 20866. He will be in this setting for 3-4 weeks.

Jane Simpson is now recovering at home from recent hospitalization for heart and balance issues. She will be with home health aides, and family tending, and is glad to be back in her own space for healing.

We mourn with Jeff Berg on the loss of his mother Laura, sending All Souls love for the transitions. Our hearts are with Jeff, Van, and extended family.

The Celebration of Life for Adenia Taylor has been set for Friday, October 7, at 1 pm in the Sanctuary. Adenia died in her sleep at age 95 last month, a member of All Souls for 40 years. More details to come in the fall, when Rev. Bill Sinkford will officiate.
