The Theology of “Fleabag”

In the age of streaming entertainment, there is no shortage of stories attempting to explore this business of being human. Phoebe-Waller Bridge’s beloved, edgy, and delightfully shocking TV phenomenon “Fleabag” made us laugh, cry, buy surprisingly flattering black jumpsuits, and pine after “Hot Priest.” It also managed to slip in some deep questions about the meaning of life and what we owe each other. Join us for a three-week course where we examine the theological underpinnings of the show and explore what meaning we can find when we give ourselves permission to look for the sacred in unexpected places.
