Suffragist Souls Movie Night

The “Suffragist Souls” is a new group coming together to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the 19th Amendment with a big party at church on March 21, 2020.

In addition to the All Souls 2020 Suffragist Ball, an event for celebration, generosity, and community building, we will also be holding some events leading up to the ball to educate and engage members of the church around voting rights, women’s rights and racial justice. Our goal is to tell the important, complex story of the fight for the 19th Amendment.

As a kickoff, we are planning a screening of Knock Down the House, the documentary about AOC’s 2018 campaign (and others), in the lounge at church.  Join us to learn more and enjoy the movie. Popcorn and drinks provided.
