The act of learning is a central focus of Unitarian Universalist religious life, and rightly so. However, as awareness continues to grow about the impact of socialization and unconscious bias, it is increasingly clear that we must also take seriously the task of unlearning. Deeply ingrained patterns can be the hardest to recognize, and as such the hardest to change. Yet also among the most liberating for ourselves and our world! How can we support each other through this powerful and complex process?
