Life, Death, and Afterward: Artists Explore the Human Condition
Over the course of three Saturdays, we will visit area museums to see how artists from across time and space have treated three subjects that have fascinated, frustrated, and frightened human beings – life, death, and what happens afterward. For one hour each Saturday we will observe three different pieces of art that explore the theme of the day from a diversity of perspectives. No background in art or art history is needed, only a willingness to learn, to explore, and to be surprised.
Tony Coleman, Minister of Congregational Care. Saturdays, May 16, 23, and 30, 2:00 – 3:00 pm. $15 [maximum 20]
