LGBTQ+ Inclusion at Church

Open to the entire All Souls community, as well as other Unitarian Universalists and all those embracing a theology of radical love. Supporting LGBTQ+ congregants means supporting our liberation in the greater world, but also within our churches and congregations. While we must constantly develop ourselves and our spiritual communities, what fundamental knowledge will ground us in LGBTQ+ liberation? This workshop will deepen our thinking around practices, both personal and institutional, such as understanding privilege, using the right pronouns/names, and finding inclusive language. How do we get beyond the superficial to make liberation and empowerment part of our culture and ways of being and doing?

Advance registration required. Deadline to register is Wednesday, May 12 by 5 PM.
