ASC Social Justice Ministry Campaigns Overview

February through June 2022 is a critical time for organizing in Washington, DC, as elections for mayor, attorney general, and some City Council members offer an opportunity to influence candidates and secure commitments to more progressive policies in critical areas like affordable housing, environmental justice, migrant justice, racial justice, public safety, and more.

All Souls is one of the 40 faith communities that make up the Washington Interfaith Network (WIN). WIN has a strong track record of influencing significant and lasting change and has several creative campaigns in the works. All Souls is in the process of identifying how much capacity it has to be involved in these various WIN efforts. A representative from WIN and leaders in the Social Justice Ministry will provide an overview of the possibilities and lead discussions on how more people can be involved in this critical work.
