Reflecting on African American and Womanist Theology

This series of lively conversations centers on the work of African American and Womanist theologians, including Rev. Dr. Sophia Betancourt, who will preach at All Souls on Sunday, April 19. We’ll take a personal approach to our work. Rather than entering into an intellectual critique of the chosen texts, we’ll journey together as a “community of learners.” In responding to the beliefs of others, we’ll explore our own identity as people of faith. Along the way, we’ll strengthen our understanding of the Unitarian Universalist tradition.
