All Souls Leadership Course 2020

Do you

  • want to learn or hone your leadership skills?
  • deepen your involvement at All Souls?
  • help create the Beloved Community?

This opportunity is for you!

As All Souls approaches our 200th year, join with other congregants in this four-session Leadership Course, offered in February/March 2020.

Through interactive sessions with All Souls members, ministers, and staff, the course will

  • develop members’ leadership skills and capabilities
  • strengthen relationship among congregants
  • prepare participants for the next chapter of our congregational story.

As a participant, you will

  • increase your connections with past, current, and future leaders of the church
  • deepen your engagement with the All Souls community
  • develop and refine skills to support church, career, and community involvement.

The All Souls Leadership Course was a great opportunity to become more connected to the church in so many ways. I met incredible people, had the chance to learn about all of the ways to participate in the church as a lay leader, and the content from the facilitators and trainers was very helpful both personally and professionally. I appreciated the chance to build relationships with so many other people - it made coming to church on Sunday's feel even more like spending time with friends and family - and made me feel an even greater spirit of partnership and community. I highly recommend the course for anyone looking to get more involved in All Souls, to meet new people, and to learn how they can show up as a leader by being part of this amazing community.

Being new to the UU world, this class opened my eyes to the importance of participation my members in ministries and governance of this church. So rewarding.
