I'm reading Galen Guengerich's God Revised, published last month. Galen offers a refreshing and reasoned take on the so-called "God Wars," between fundamentalism and atheism. He writes, "A central premise of this book, and perhaps its most controversial and counterintuitive claim, is that God is not supernatural, and yet belief in God is necessary."
Hear Galen preach this Sunday (June 16) at All Souls @ 10:15 am.
I'm finding my summer break restful and renewing, and will enjoy a Sunday back at All Souls with all of you on June 23, after my trip to the Unitarian Universalist General Assembly.
