Beloved Conversations: Teaching Hearts and Minds to Open for Multicultural Change

Rev. Rebecca Parker

Beloved Conversations is a powerful pathway for spiritual-growth and relationship building that advances our dream of beloved community, a transformative curriculum grounded in spiritual practice and our UU faith, and a learning laboratory for how to live healthily in a multi-racial, multicultural, theologically diverse community. Led by Dr. Mark Hicks, Meadville Lombard Professor of Religious Education, Beloved Conversations will open with a 1.5-day immersive retreat at All Souls, on February 22—23 (where we’ll be joined by friends from the Washington Ethical Society), to be followed by eight 2-hour sessions, every week, in small cohorts of 10-15 people (choose Sundays or Mondays when you register). Your participation is invited and encouraged! For more information, contact Rev. Rebecca Parker (
