Book Discussion: Naomi Klein’s "No Is Not Enough"

Facilitator:
Jose Luis Sanchez

Naomi Klein is one of the sharpest and most relevant writers of our time focusing on the science of climate change and the politics of environmental destruction. In her latest book No Is Not Enough, she details why resisting the most recent steps of the corporate takeover under the Trump administration are necessary but not enough to save democracy from fascism or the planet from destructive change. In No Is Not Enough she lays out a visionary strategy for saving democracy and the planet, based on an intersectional moral movement akin to that of Rev. Dr. William Barber II. We’ll also look at the Leap Manifesto, which Klein co-wrote with some 60 other environmental leaders.
